Large Chinese Nephrite Jade Stone Sculpture Hand Carved Fine Art Dragons Statue

About the Item

Stunning large Chinese hand carved genuine jade sculpture (tested as nephrite jade) depicting dragons and koi fish. The original owner provided details that this sculpture was created during the Qing Dynasty. We were also told that the dragons symbolize great power, good luck and strength while the Koi fish are associated with positive imagery. This particular piece tells the ancient legend of the Kois perseverance and determination to swim up the Yellow River in China, the Gods rewarded the koi by turning it into a golden dragon. Please note there is no appraisal or certificate with this piece. Measurements: 30" in width, 13" in height, approximately 2.25" in depth. Origin: China Material: Jade (tested as nephrite) Wear consistent with age and use.
