Vintage Japanese Netsuke Figure Oni Demon Japan Detailed Carved Bone

About the Item

Finely crafted vintage hand carved bone netsuke figure. Beautifully detailed featuring a scene with an oni, signed on the bottom of the figurine. Measures 1.3 inches in width by 2 inches in height. The last photo shows the netsuke under a black light. "A netsuke is a small sculpture which developed as an art form in Japan over a period of more than three hundred years."
