Corn Finial

About the Item

A carved stone finial in the form of a sheaf of wheat, English, inscribed “EFH” and dated 1882. It has a large rectangular base that isn't shown in the pictures. 45 ins. high, 33.5 ins. wide, 18 ins. deep. Provenance: By repute, from the Corn Exchange in Birmingham, England, which was demolished in 1955.
