Pair of Italian 17th Century Baroque Period Marble Architectural Elements
About the Item
A magnificent pair of Italian 17th century Baroque period white Carrara marble architectural elements. Each unique wall sculpture displays a finely carved white Carrara winged cherub, with exquisite facial expressions, protruding from a solid marble plinth. On one side is an inlay of Brocatelle d'Espagne marble within a black Belgian marble border above a scrolled trim. The façade is decorated with an inlay of Antico Verde marble within a Sienna marble border. Extremely decorative with wonderful proportions.
