19th C. Spanish Eight-Panel Wood Door with Diamond Motiif & its Original Paint

About the Item

A Spanish painted eight panel wood door, with decorative diamond motif, from the 19th century. This beautifully-rustic antique door from Spain has been designed with eight squared raised panels, each embellished with raised diamond patterns within their centers. The front/decorated side retains old or original paint (reddish/brown hue), which shows areas of wear and a fabulous old patina, a reflection of its rich history and prior use. The backside is unfinished with no carvings. The door stands approximately 5.75 feet in height. As with any of our antique doors, we strongly advise that you consult with your contractor or architect to discuss the necessary measurements and hardware to make this piece work for your project. This 19th century Spanish raised geometric panel door could be used on a custom cabinet or pantry, or perhaps mounted horizontally on a wall (or headboard) as a a great way to add some architectural interest and character to your bedroom!
