Well Carved English Pine Fireplace with Barrel Frieze & Oak Leaves
About the Item
A well carved English pine fireplace. The intricate centre blocking featuring wreath, ribbons and foliage, flanked by barrelled frieze adorned with oak leaves. The jambs with acanthus leaves to inner moulding and carved belldrops. The shelf with dentils and moulding above. Plinths have been previously amended to accept hearth – all necessary restoration included in price. English, late 19th-early 20th century.
