Bowl by André Baud, Vallauris

About the Item

This special shaped bowl was designed by André Baud for his studio in Vallauris, c. 1950. It is made of earthenware with matt black glaze and overlaid decoration in white, red and yellow. André Baud was one of the first potters to settle in Vallauris in 1942. Baud’s work is characterised by its simplicity and sobriety. This piece is in mint condition and marked “Vallauris”
