About the Item
Elegant bowl in patinated silver Signed Kisho. Mid 20th century.
Beautiful silver plated bowl with a very decorative rim. It has a simple shape but details like the elegant rim do elevate it. The best thing about this bowl however is the very desirable patination of the silver. Due to decades of use a very decorative patination has formed over the surface with colors and shapes appearing on it. This bowl is heavily patinated and this makes the bowl very attractive to those who can appreciate some nice patina.
This bowl can be used as a decorative piece, but is versatile and can also be used as a vide poche or catchall on a desk or table.
It is signed 'Kisho' and therefore we presume it can well be Japanese - but we are not certain about that.
In nice vintage condition with a fantastic patination.
