About the Item
A stunning vintage Studio pottery bowl decorated in grey lava glazes over a brown tenmoku glazed ground by Ken Halsall (b.1928) and made at the light trees pottery. The rounded shaped bowl stands on a narrow rounded foot and is finely potted and decorated in black and brown tenmoku glazes the inside applied with an abstract contrasting textured lava glazed design. Underglaze impressed twin tree marks to the base.
