Brown Studio Teapot by Ken Halsall Light Trees Pottery, circa 1975

About the Item

A fine vintage Studio Pottery tenmoku glazed teapot and cover by Ken Halsall (b.1928) and made at the Light Trees Pottery. This stylish shaped teapot has a squat rounded body with an incised ribbed design with a conical shaped spout and moulded loop handle and is decorated in brown and black tenmoku glazes. With a recessed cover the teapot has impressed twin tree marks to the base. From an extensive Studio Pottery collection.
