Stunning Example of a Ladies Well Figure Tortoise Shell Silver Framed Hinged Lid Card Case of generous proportions, made during the first half of the Nineteenth Century. The rectangular hinged cover with lavish silver inlay depicting a trailing branch of flowers and foliage. Condition: Good condition for such an early piece with no losses to inlays, nice surface patination to tortoiseshell. The case closes firmly. Width: (at widest, just over) 5.5" (14cm). Depth: 3” (8cm). ----------------------------------- An oval well figured horn trinket box with separate lid, late Nineteenth Century Condition: Perfect condition, lid closes firmly Width: 4.5” (11.5cms). Depth: 2.25” (5.5cms). ------------------------------------ Rectangular well figured Tortoiseshell hinged lid trinket or snuff box, possibly Regency period Condition: Tiny loss at one corner, otherwise excellent. Width: (just under) 3.5” (8.5cms). ------------------------------------ Rectangular horn and Tortoiseshell Snuff Box, possibly Regency period.     An exceptionally fine quality example of a Lady’s or Gentleman’s English Regency Period polished brass mounted Flame Mahogany Inlaid Boulle Style Jewellery or Trinket Casket or Table Box made during the first quarter of the Nineteenth Century, of English origin.  The rectangular form with hinged lid opening to reveal a later burgundy coloured woven fabric which is superbly done. Central cartouche on lid with initials possibly RLH.  This exquisite casket is raised on four generous beaded bun supports.  Condition: Good condition with nice patination, no losses to brass inlays.     A superb example of a French well figured brass inlaid Rosewood, late Victorian period double interior section tea caddy of flat rectangular outline, generous proportions and outstanding quality, all areas are edged with self-quadrant mouldings, complete with original lock and key. Last quarter of the 19th century. The hinged cover opens to reveal an original fitted interior of twin smooth lift out finial covers. Condition: superb condition with no losses to inlays, interior foil linings are quite worn. Baise underneath has wonderful age-wear, very nice untouched surface patination.
