Chinese Qing Dynasty Tiered Wedding Box with Nailheads and Dark Patina

About the Item

A Chinese Qing dynasty period wooden tiered wedding box from the 19th century, with carved sides, handle and nailheads. Created in China during the 19th century, this wedding box features a linear silhouette, accented with metal braces and nailheads. Comprising of two independent sections and a rectangular lid, the box was being easily carried thanks to its large wooden handle with carved lateral sides. With its convenient features and dark patina, this 19th century Chinese Qing wedding box will be a wonderful decorative item in any home.
