Beautifully inlaid marquetry mix-woods box depicting a surrealistic piazza landscape on the top, and faux-brick sides. Initialed on the image and signed and dated 1950 in the box interior, by master woodworker Enrico Bernardi.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Very good original. Light separations of wood on lid, but veneer is intact and tightly in place. Slight gap where lid meets box body.
