Storyteller: Jack lived in a little village in France. He daydreamed of a more comfortable future while working alongside his parents on their little farm. One day, while roaming around the countryside, Jack discovered a hidden treasure concealed in an old barn. It was an opaline glass and copper box with orange-red Moser flower designs on white milky glass. Jack was absolutely blown away when he first saw the box. It appeared to be from another age. Jack was astounded by his good fortune. He knew that, by selling the box, he could lift his family out of poverty. As Jack returned to his humble home, he proudly displayed the box to his parents. They couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the superb craftsmanship and design of the box. They eventually decided to take it to a nearby antique shop for an official appraisal. The dealer couldn't believe what he was seeing. He realized that the box was very valuable since it had been made in France by skilled artisans somewhere in the late 19th century.
