About the Item
A fine antique French Mother of Pearl sewing necessaire, etui, circa 1840. The hinged fitted case with geometric mother of pearl & abalone decoration, the case has an inset silver tablet that is free from an engraved monogram. The interior is fitted with the following;

Engraved propelling pencil

Sewing scissors

All the tools are original with engraved mother of pearl handles, condition of the case and its contents are very good indeed.
