A Large and impressive 19th Century Dutch Mahogany Turned Circular Box

About the Item

A good and impressively sized mid 19th Century finely turned Mahogany tobacco box with intricately turned lid. This most decorative and unusual piece is raised on three bun feet turned moulded frieze, surmounted by an intricately turned finial lid. These boxes are highly prized by Treen Collectors particularly with the rich Mahogany beautifully aged patinated surfaces.
