Dutch Marquetry Inlaid Mahogany Single Tea Caddy c.1810

About the Item

This wonderful early nineteenth century tea caddy was made to emulate the larger decanter boxes made in a similar shape and manor during this period. Made from Mahogany, the box is beautifully decorated with stunning floral and foliate marquetry inlay. The rounded front have two tiny brass knobs to lift the lid just as one would with the decanter box. A rare and highly sought-after gem, in excellent condition, measuring 5 1/4" wide x 4" deep x 7 3/8" tall. FREE Worldwide Shipping Directly From London, England Item: 33944
