Elegant Viennese Silver and Enamel Large Cornucopia, circa 1880

About the Item

The central silver group depicting St. George slaying a dragon with mother-of-pearl and faceted semi-precious stone. St. George with an enamel and silver shield. The enamel cornucopia finely painted with mythological scenes including Europa and the Bull. The exterior and inner lip with similarly themed paintings and molded decoration. The base with three panels of decoration. One silver band studded with three lapis stones.
