About the Item
French Carriage Clock - With a rectangular white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and Arabic minutes above a subsidiary alarm dial, signed 'Goldsmiths Alliance Limited Cornhill, London, 2359' with a two train eight day movement with push button repeat striking on two coiled gongs, the back plate numbered 2359, the brass case with all over engraved scrolling foliate decoration.
The fine engraved case is in good condition as is the dial. The movement strikes the hours and quarters with the addition of push repeat and alarm.
