Fine 18th century English tallcase clock, the 8 day movement with brass face and silvered chapter ring by John Glover, London, the case of provincial manufacture in well-patinated oak, the square molded top over dentil and fluted moldings supported by Ionic columns with gilt capitals and plinths over narrow waisted case, the base with flat molded panel over cupid bow shaped bracket foot.
