18th Century French Louis XV Mantel Clock w/ Ormolu & Painted Flowers by Perrard
About the Item
A very beautiful French Louis XV rococo mantel clock, signed on the dial, "Perrard a Lyon". Case is painted with a rose-colored paint with swags of small hand-painted flowers & foliage, and has ormolu mounts of bronze d'ore. The white enamel dial has Roman numerals showing the hours, and Arabic numerals along the perimeter of the circumference showing the minutes. The movement, case and dial are period Louis XV. France, circa 1750. Comes with original winding key.
Measures: 16 1/2" wide x 7" deep x 32 1/4" high.
