We bought this from a dealer on Marche Biron at the Paris antiques markets
François Linke (1855–1946) was a renowned French ébéniste (cabinetmaker) known for his exceptional furniture crafted during the Belle Époque. Linke's pieces are characterized by intricate marquetry, lavish ormolu mounts, and exquisite craftsmanship, earning him international acclaim and patronage from European royalty and aristocracy.
