About the Item

Large French 19th century Bronze Intimate Couple Figure Marble Base 8 Day Mantle Clock. This is an amazing 19th century French tall figure marble mantle clock. The intimate couple are standing on a round green marble base, with a clock housed inside. The time shows on a nice porcelain dial, signed by Antony Bailly. The statue is made of bronze with beautiful patina from its age, signed by Louis Moreau. The complete clock stands 29" tall and the base is 11-1/2" in diameter. The movement is 8 day with half hour and hour striking. It's in good working order and complete with pendulum and winding key.
