19th Century Small Inkwell in Porcelain and Silver-Gilt in Sevres Style

About the Item

Small inkwell crafted in porcelain, the paunch and lid decorated with a frieze of polychromatic floral motives highlighted with gold. The lid topped by a pine cone finial features a compartment to hold ink. Silver-gilt mounts, finely chiselled with foliage and small pearls. Marked [...] Paris and silversmith mark. The porcelain with Sevres apocryphal mark, Circa :1850 Dim: W: 2,9 in - D: 2,9in - H: 4,3in. Dim: L:7,3cm, P:7,3cm, H:11cm.
