Antique Gilt Bronze Letter Opener with Figure of a Dog, circa 1900
About the Item
We bought a nice collection of letter openers and a few were very special, this is one of them. A nice presentation of an adorable dog moving along on the handle portion of the letter opener. Extremely well cast and it's all there, no broken tail, and even the point of the opener was never used to open a drawer and break off, or bend the tip. A really nice example, and a great gift for the dog lover, or anybody who would appreciate having a special letter opener.
