Vienna Bronze, Boy Jockey, circa 1900

About the Item

This finely cast bronze depicts a very young boy jockey standing with his original (yes original) crop. The crop has the same coloration as the boy's body. It was originally attached to his back, it has come loose, but has never left his possession, most remarkable considering that this is over 100 years old. Mounted on the original black onyx base. A beautiful little Vienna bronze, and done in the style of Franz Bergmann.
