Art Deco African Women Tribal Sculptures by Margit Izsepy

About the Item

African female statue in Art Deco style by Izsépy Margit. Fired, hand painted, silk-glazed matte ceramic with turquoise paint. A characteristic, sexy object from the 1950s. Great condition. Margit Izsépy: She is a ceramic artist and has been working with ceramics since the 1940s. With her works, he participated in the 1947 ceramic and 1952 applied arts exhibitions organized in the Ernst museum. In the 1950s, she worked in the Ceramic Craftsman foundation and her home workshop. Her best-known works are her African tribal sculptures. In our studio, we collect exciting pieces, mainly from the European period of the 1930s-1970s. We love bohemian and special pieces. We refurbish the furniture, always using classic craft techniques. During the renovation, we choose a textile from which we make only one piece. In this way, we make furniture of which there is guaranteed to be one. If you like any of our items, ask for a quote on shipping and we'll try to find the best price, depending on size and country. We hope you find an Urban you like:) Nori
