Maurice Maignan Bronze Female Bust Sculpture

About the Item

This is a Maurice Maignan bronze female bust sculpture. It depicts a young lady with a smile and wearing a tight corset adorned with an upper border full of ruffles. She also has like a garland of roses that start in her left shoulder and go around her corset. Her hair is arranged in a fluffy topknot, also adorned with flowers. In the back of the neck is inscribed M.Maignan. The bust is supported by a heavy gilt carved square wood base. It has a wine color velvet fabric in the top. In the front center of the base, It is written Bataille des Fleur.
