Majestic 18th century Italian baroque polychrome Santos icon sculpture of a young man. The carved icon is depicted standing and wearing a flowing robe with graceful movement. He has curly hair and dramatic blue eyes with a mesmerizing stare. The sculpture has a missing arm, hand, and numerous losses with a heavily distressed patina as seen in photos. Purported to be from a Northern Italian monastery. From an estate in Santa Barbara, CA.
