Baroque Style Venetian Gilt Carved Barometer by Palladio
About the Item
Gorgeous intentionally aged Venetian barometer made in the baroque taste by Italian artisans Palladio. The diamond shaped frame is painted and embellished with gilt scrollwork and rocaille finials or sprays on all four sides. The face is labeled in French for barometric changes to the weather with a center needle pointer. Labeled on verso with stamp. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. Wonderful aged patina and craftsmanship.
