Chinese Brass Opium Pillow in the Form of a Boy
About the Item
Whimsical circa 1900 Chinese brass opium pillow in the form of a kneeling boy. The boy shown crouching and smiling with an amusing forelock on his otherwise bald head. He holds in his hands a tray to rest the opium pipe. Now a wonderful piece of sculpture with a the rich honey patina of age and use. A unique decorative piece, surely a conversation starter.
11 inches long 7 deep 7 high.
