Mid-Century Modern Carved Giltwood Figure on Lucite Sculpture

About the Item

A fabulous mid-century modern hand carved giltwood sculpture, possibly American, depicting a surrealist nude figure of a man with block head lying in a prostrate position, mounted on a conforming clear lucite base. circa 1960 Dimensions: (approx) Overall: 12" Long, 5" Wide, 3.5" High Figure: 10.5" Long, 4" Wide, 1.5" High Excellent vintage condition with nicely aged patina. A wonderful work of art, it makes for a fascinating table sculpture!
