Antique Czech Ruby Cut to Clear Bottle Decanter with Ornate Silver Plated Stand
About the Item
This antique decanter stand is signed by an unknown maker, but believed to have originated from the United States and date to approxiately 1900. The decanter bottle is presumed to have originated from Bohemia, now the Czech Republic and dating to the same period, both being done in a Victorian style. The decanter and stopper and done in a deep ruby cut to clear with very ornate grapes and leaves around the entire bottle, with the stopper being done in a honeycomb manner. The decanter stand is done in silver plate with a very ornate bottle cup on the base with also grape and leaf decoration. The decanter stand is hallmarked with a model numbe on the underside of the base.
