With the holiday season on our doorstep we are offering a number of season related items, but also many smaller and lower priced art and antiques that will make great gifts for yourself and for family & friends. This is one of such items.
This good size, hand-crafted and hand-painted wrought iron and cast iron Christmas tree Stand is beautiful in design AND execution and it is as strong and stabile as the day it was made (around 1910-1920). This Arts and Crafts era tree stand is of the kind of quality and durability that you just don't see anymore and it can be used both inside and out. It is in excellent condition and the original green & gold colors are ofcourse perfect for the Christmas season. With a strong iron base that is 22 inches in diameter and weighing close to 12 pounds this stand is perfect for holding normal to slightly larger size Christmas trees. The diameter of the opening for placing the tree is 2.55 inches and with the original wingnuts it is easy to tighten/secure the stem.
