18th Century Pair Decalcomania Glass Vases Piemonte Italy Arte Povera

About the Item

A rare pair of decalcomania glass vases from Piemonte Italy 18th century. Painted in polychrome with applications in Arte Povera with floral and chinois motifs. The synomania that spread throughout the eighteenth century influenced all the decorative arts. The Piedmontese glass production specializes in the decoration of these glass vases.
