19th Century French Neoclassical Painted and Gilt Porcelain Vase

About the Item

Decorate a console or a buffet with this elegant antique urn from Paris. Crafted circa 1890 and signed on the bottom, the tall neoclassical vase features a long neck over a rounded base. The urn is gilt hand painted with a central medallion of classical decor of floral motifs with the Louis XVI ribbon bow at the top, on a cobalt blue background. The neck and rim are embellished with gilt decor including leaf decor throughout. The large vessel is in excellent condition with rich colors in the blue palette embellished with gilt accents throughout. Measures: 6.5" diameter 17.5" height.
