Nils Landberg 'Tulpan' Tulip Vases for Orrefors Sweden, Expo 1957, Set of 5

About the Item

Delicate and ethereal, Tulpan (Tulip) vases by Swedish designer Nils Landberg. In the late 1940's Landberg developed the slender glass that made him famous. Sizes and shapes varied, the aim was for ever more extreme stem lengths. Due to their fragile nature these objects are rare and collectable. Tulpan glas received a Gold Medal at the XI Milan Triennale in 1957. Sold in a set of five (5) - as shown - but alternatively also available individually. Please enquire if you desire these objects individually. Smallest size object is 25 cm height x 10 diameter. Other objects between 41 cm and 47 cm height. All pieces are individually signed, see detailed photos, and come in mint condition. By quantity, a very impressive whole. Rarely offered in a set this large.
