Pair of Minton Majolica vases which feature daffodils stood on bulb feet. Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: cobalt blue, green, white, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1200'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1867.

    Repaired: Vase 1: Filled chip to one petal. Filled chip to rim. Minor retouching to leaf flakes. Vase 2: Filled chip to rim. Minor retouching to leaf flakes to leaves. Wear consistent with age and use. Vase 1: Good. KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to one of the leaf tips. Vase 2: Good. KILN EFFECTS: slightly uneven glaze application to the ground in places.
