Simon Moore English Hand Blown Blue Art Glass Vase Dated 1989
About the Item
A very stylish modern English hand blown art glass vase by renowned glass maker Simon Moore (b.1959) dated 1989. Simon Moore has a had highly successful career since graduation in 1981 and has held a Visiting Professor title at the Royal College of Art and made exclusive pieces for many eminent clients. His work has been widely exhibited and is held in museums around the world. This stunning example of his work stands supported on a tricorn black glass base with a blue rounded shaped body with an open beak shaped top and applied with clear glass piped swirl designs and with piping along the top edges of the opening. The vase is signed to the foot rim and is dated 1989 and is numbered 221.
