Stig Lindberg - Domino - Gustavsberg

About the Item

Product Description: Stig Lindberg, the designer of this vase, gained international fame in the design exhibition held in 1955 in Helsingborg where he introduced the domino series of household earthenware. Items within the domino series are very recognizable due to the monochrome painting and rudimentary design with the absence of curvature. The item presented here is special in that its glazing is not the usual black and white but rather has a grayish color. The vase gives a robust impression, feels firm and is quite heavy.   Product Condition: The condition of the vase is very good. There are almost no scratches visible on its surface, only on the inside of the vase there appears to be some paint unevenness. Weight: 667g.
