Stig Lindberg, Coq, Gustavsberg

About the Item

Product Description: The coq-series by Stig Lindberg is very appealing to the eye. The light-brown color will make it look good on almost any table. Interesting is that the black details on the cups and saucers are handpainted giving each item within the series a unique appearance. The material is such that it can be used in ovens so the items can be used in cooking and don't merely have to serve as your tea-time friend. The cups and saucers can be stacked to save space. Product Condition: Some brown colored craquelé is present on the inside of both cups, probably due to aging. On the side of one of the cups there is a small dent (visible on the pictures), this damage probably occured during the production process. The cups have some spots where the glazing is less (looks a little like oil stains on the pictures). Apart from these imperfections the cups and saucers are in good condition. Cup Dimensions: width (top): 75 mm width (max): 100 mm height: 60 mm Saucer Dimensions: width: 130 mm height: 10 mm Total weight: 608g
