19th C French Opaline Grand Tour Greco-Roman Portrait Decanter

About the Item

19th Century French opaline Grand Tour Greco-Roman portrait decanter, complete with orignal stopper, with elongated neck. The bulbous body decorated at each side with medallions with stylized greek key border, 'Iron Red' background with a male wearing a helmet on one side, and a diadema wearing female on the other. Signed in circular back stamp 'Made in France' The decanter stands Inches high, with a 4.25-inch diameter, raised on a 3-Inch diameter base.
