Art Deco Barware Silver Plate Cocktail Shaker and Six Glasses, France 1940s

About the Item

This barware serving set is an exquisite example of French Art Deco design, crafted from silver plate metal by Silversmith Maison Barra of Paris in the 1940s. The three-sectioned designed cylindrical Martini or cocktail shaker has a removable cap and strainer. The bar set is completed with its original six silver plate cocktail glasses with the same geometric design. Each piece is marked underside with legal silversmith hallmarks. The bar set is in good condition, with a tiny scratch on the base of one of the glasses. Check the close-up. Measurements: Shaker: 3.30 in diameter (8.5 cm) x 7.88 in high (20 cm). Glasses: 2 in diameter (5 cm) x 2.57 in high (6.5 cm). Note: measurements in item detail are for the shaker alone.
