French 19th Century Empire St. Sterling Silver Caviar Server
About the Item
A French 19th century Empire st. sterling silver caviar server. This ornate server is raised on a round base with a pierced foliate pattern. Richly chased male and female figures in garments of the day alternating with the flame of eternity between two quivers filled with bows and tied with a ribbon. The server is surrounded by twelve spoons that are emailler gold over silver to prevent tarnishing. Scrolled handles with lovebirds and a peacock finial.
