19th Century English Minton Bombay Flow Blue Oyster Plate

About the Item

A Victorian Minton flow blue porcelain oyster plate, with six oyster wells, a center well and a large well for crackers. Decorated in the Japonisme style, each well has indigo blue flowers and fans with koi fish and is separated by relief of shells at the edge and embossed daisies around the sauce well. Backstamp: Mintons Bombay with impressed marks. Circa 1880-1900. Dimensions: 10" Diameter x 1"
