About the Item
A good antique Art Deco Belgian Blue Pottery crackle glaze vase, Charles Catteau for Boch Freres, circa 1925.
The bottle shaped vase with a 'mallet' shaped base and raised on a shallow circular foot, the vase with a handsome blue crackle glaze and a cream interior. The glaze evidently influenced by eatrly Chinese crackle glaze pottery, the vase having a circular mark to the base "Boch Freres Made in Belgium La Louviere Fabrication Belge". Condition is very good, no chips or cracks, an elegant art deco vase, ready to grace your home.
