The French couple created their first pieces together in 1952, in their atelier in Ratilly Castle (France) and worked there for more than 30 years.
They had many ceramic interns in Ratilly, such as Georges Jouve. From 1956, they organized major contemporary art exhibitions which turned Ratilly, one of the very first private art centers. Exhibiting many great names like Calder, Chillida, de Staël...
