circa 1840-60 Gaudy Welsh face spout miniature jug. Impressed "Allerton" mark. Considered a close & rare relative, but not Gaudy Welsh by serious collectors. Old tag from Elizabeth Bradley Antiques, 4/24/97, $275, where the most recent owner purchased it. Measures: 2 7/8" x 2" x 2 1/8" H.
