French Faience HB Quimper Oyster or Egg Serving Plate in Red and Blue, France

About the Item

A beautiful faience oyster plate by HB Quimper. This lovely serving piece features hand painted flowers in blue and deep almost maroon red. Each flower is painted alternately at the center of each of the 6 oyster wells. A well in the center features a blue center with red stylized maroon detail. The edge of the piece has a maroon ribbon. The bottom is signed HB Quimper and 1029 for the painter. Dimensions: 9.75” diameter 1” tall.
