Futuristic Mid-Century Modern Fat Lava Ceramic Tripod Vase

About the Item

Amazing futuristic Mid-Century Modern fat lava and flambe blue glazed tripod vase, circa 1950-1960. Glossy to mat drip glazed vessel with three splayed legs holding up a space saucer type bowl. The glaze colors range from a deep gloss blue to a grayish blue mat glaze. Signed on the bottom illegibly. The form number, 537 and USA can be made out. The rest possibly reads EMC or FMC. Good overall condition with no visible cracks, hairlines or chips. There is overall tight crazing to the glaze. Structurally sound and sturdy. Measures: Approximately 5.25" diameter x 4.25" high.
